When thinking of a true coffeehouse words such as serenity, quiet, and peacefulness immediately come to mind. Thus, Amani International Coffeehouse & Cafe was born. The name Amani means peace in the African language of Swahili. It was important to have a name that speaks a universal language and has the ability to connect a multi-cultural community. Amani believes its purpose is to unite cultures through one cup.
The primary goal of Amani is to create an experience you will never forget. Amani prides itself on exhibiting an extremely high level of quality customer service. Therefore, Amani International is dedicated to ensuring your experience is positive each time you visit.

A Little About the Owner
Terra Jones is the owner/operator of Amani International Coffeehouse & Cafe. Terra graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. Afterwards, she completed a fellowship in public policy with the Coro Center for Civic Leadership. Most recently, Terra enrolled in Duquesne Universities masters program in Community Leadership. She has always aspired to be an entrepreneur, and it was during her second semester at Duquesne she decided to make her dreams a reality. Her advice, follow your dreams and remember every battle is won or lost in your own mind.
